The hats give kids permission and makes them feel safe enough to design their most heavy thoughts – because the hats don’t shame or judge them.  Kids just want to be listened to and not overlooked. Our INK IT project provides that Safe Place for them to yell, scream, and cry on the hats so we can come alongside to encourage and present hope so healing can begin.
